If there's one thing we know about Owl City, its that he knows how to make a great song for soundtracks. He's written the charming "To the Sky" for The Guardians of Ga'hoole and of course, the thumping, dancey "When Can I See You Again" for Disney's Wreck-it Ralph. But this time, his offering is for the Dreamworks animated film, The Croods.
He teams up with the enchantingly talented singstress Yuna, (who hails from Malaysia) on this cute, rather simple track "Shine Your Way". It starts off with some string chords before the beat chimes in, and you're taken to a bright, sunny dance anthem. While it's not his best song (it's a little lacking in production) he and Yuna work together perfectly, her light vocals mixing well with his dreamy tones.
The American Idol top 10 finalists will be performing "Shine Your Way" tonight, while Owl City and Yuna will be performing it on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
